How We Source Our Stock

This page used to describe a seven-point authentication audit. We have replaced it with a plain account of where our stock comes from, because that is the thing you actually want to know and it is something we can stand behind.

Where the product comes from

LUZActive is a parallel importer. We buy genuine, brand-new stock at retail from established sports retailers overseas. Today that means two markets:

  • New Zealand — the majority of our range.
  • Malaysia — a smaller range, mostly limited and exclusive releases.

Stock ships from that market directly to your address in Australia through our third-party logistics partner. Each product page shows which market that item ships from, so you can see it before you order.

We name the country, not the individual stores we buy from. Which retail partners we use is commercially sensitive and it is the one part of this we keep to ourselves. What matters to you — that it is genuine retail stock, which market it leaves from, and how long it takes — is on every product page.

It is the same product those stores sell over the counter. It has not passed through a marketplace, an unnamed supplier or a wholesale broker. It came off a retail shelf.

Parallel importing is legal in Australia and is a normal way for goods to reach this market. Different countries get different ranges at different prices, and importing the difference is not only permitted, it is the reason we can offer sizes and colourways that never get an Australian release.

What we are not

We are not an authorised dealer for, affiliated with, or endorsed by Nike, Jordan, adidas, ASICS, New Balance, PUMA, On Running, Under Armour or The North Face. We hold no distribution agreement with any brand. Our pricing, range and availability are set by us, independently of any of them.

We hold no inventory in Australia and operate no warehouse or distribution hub. We also do not run a forensic authentication process: we do not own UV equipment, we do not perform material analysis, and we are not going to claim we do. Our confidence in the product comes from where we buy it, not from a lab.

Warranty and faults — the honest version

Because our stock is parallel imported, a brand's Australian warranty service will generally not cover it. Manufacturers usually honour warranties only through their own authorised channels in each country.

So we cover it ourselves. If an item arrives faulty, is not as described, or fails in a way it clearly should not have, contact us and we will refund or replace it. You deal with LUZActive directly and we do not send you to a brand's warranty desk.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law apply to us as the seller regardless of anything on this page. Nothing written here limits them.

One practical note: the original store's receipt is not included in your parcel. Your LUZActive order confirmation is your proof of purchase, and it is the only thing we need to resolve a return or a fault.

Landed price, no surprises

Every price on this site is in Australian dollars and includes GST and any applicable import duty. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay. There is no customs invoice waiting for you on delivery.

Delivery timeframes

Because stock ships from overseas rather than a local warehouse, allow roughly 2–3 business days handling and 8–9 business days in transit. If you need something by a particular date, ask us before you order and we will tell you honestly whether it will make it.

If something does not look right

Contact us. support@luzactive.com.au or +61 409 450 987, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm AEST. We would far rather hear about a problem and fix it than have you sit on it.
